DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Kathy graduated from Providence College with a BS degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. She worked for many years as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at an independent school in Connecticut. Before that, Kathy worked as an accountant at Computer Sciences Corporation and Textron Inc. Kathy was raised in East Bridgewater MA and currently lives in North Stonington CT with her husband, Jim, and their two golden retrievers, Murphy and Toby. She is the proud mother of two adult children, Christopher and Mary.

FINANCE ASSISTANT

Kathy graduated from Fryeburg Academy and has been working at The Learning Community for the last 14 years. Prior to that, she was a stay-at-home mom, volunteered at her kids’ schools, and ran her Church building and budget. She also worked at Brown University in student life, was a Vacation Home Abroad travel agent, and worked at Kiddie Land Day Care. Kathy grew up in Maine and her great-grandparents came from England & Ireland. She is a wife of 40 years and mother of three girls and Mimi to 4 grandchildren. She likes to travel and spend time at her summer place with her family.

FINANCE ASSISTANT

Wendy joined The Learning Community in 2015 as a Finance Assistant. Wendy has over 20 years of experience in financial and managerial administration specializing in personal and business taxation. When not at work, Wendy loves to garden, read, & hike with her two sons.

DIRECTOR OF IT SYSTEMS

Guillermo has over 10 years of experience in the IT services industry. Guillermo grew up in the West End of Providence and continues to live there. He is an active supporter of the local arts organizations and social justice programs that continue to transform the city of Providence. Guillermo is a hobbyist photographer who can take a mean selfie and cool cat pictures. It’s been rumored that he has a meme collection that’s taken up all his phone storage.

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Robert graduated from Northeastern University with his B.S. in Information Technology and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Security and Resilience Studies. He previously served in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician and is currently serving in the United States Navy Reserve. Robert was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was raised in North Attleboro, Massachusetts where he attended North Attleboro High School. Robert is an avid New England sports fan and enjoys watching a wide range of sports. Next to that, Robert most enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
