Dress Code
The Learning Community requires every student to wear a uniform to ensure that all students can focus on developing their minds and their personalities, rather than their appearance. The uniform also helps children feel equal to one another. All students are expected to arrive in a clean uniform every day. Children who don’t have a clean uniform will be sent home to change.
Winter Clothes
Children go outside every day, even in the winter, unless the temperature is below 20 degrees. In the winter, please make sure your child arrives with a warm coat, a hat, gloves, suitable shoes for outside play and very warm tights if in a skirt. We strongly recommend that girls wear pants in the winter to make sure they are comfortable when playing outside.
The Learning Community requiere que cada estudiante use un uniforme para asegurar que todos los estudiantes se enfoquen en desarrollar sus mentes y sus personalidades, más que en su apariencia. El uniforme también ayuda a los estudiantes a sentirse iguales los unos con los otros. Se espera que todos los estudiantes lleguen con un uniforme limpio todos los días. Los niños que no tengan un uniforme limpio serán enviados a casa a cambiarse.
Nuestro uniforme incluye:
Camisa: Una camisa azul clara de cuello con botones hasta abajo. Manga corta o larga.
Pantalones: Pantalones azul marino.
Falda: Azul marino con media pantalón de lana blanca o azul marino. Debe ser hasta la rodilla y debe ser falda-pantalón (con un pantalón corto debajo)
Zapatos: Azul oscuro, café oscuro, o tenis negros. Sin tenis, los niños no pueden participar en gimnasia.

Our Uniform Includes:
• Shirt: A light blue button-down shirt with a collar. Short-sleeve or long-sleeve (not a T-Shirt).
• Pants: Navy blue pants.
• Skirt: Navy blue with white or navy blue tights. Must be knee-length and be a skort (with shorts inside).
• Shoes: Dark blue, dark brown, or black sneakers. Without sneakers, children cannot participate in gym.
• Sweater or sweatshirt: Navy blue for winter.
