  • Kim Lee

    3RD GRADE (3A)

    Kim graduated from California State University, Northridge with her B.A. and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She started her career teaching Kindergarten in 2002 and has taught every grade K-5 since then, as well as serving many years here at the LC as the Math Interventionist. She grew up mostly in North Carolina and California, and has also lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Japan. She is thrilled to have called Rhode Island home since 2013 and hopes to stay here for a long time. She currently lives in East Providence with her husband, triplets, and crazy mutt, Lola.

  • Melanie Cote

    3RD GRADE (3B)

    She holds her MAT degree from Rhode Island College and B.S in Wildlife Ecology from the University of New Hampshire. While working in the education department at Roger Williams Park Zoo, she discovered her passion for teaching children. Her goal is for her students to grow their confidence and independence in a safe and fun atmosphere where mistakes are welcomed. In her classroom, laughter is encouraged!

  • Tayla Lambert

    3RD GRADE (3C)

    Tayla graduated from Rhode Island College with her bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2017. She previously worked as a guest teacher, a reading teacher, and a science teacher at LC. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Tayla enjoys the great outdoors, hanging out with family, and reading whenever she can!

  • Catarina Massa

    SPECIAL EDUCATION, 3-4

    Catarina graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.A in elementary education. She has been a part of The Learning Community for 13 years. Prior to joining LC , she was a long-term substitute teacher for Pawtucket Public Schools. She also worked as a teacher's assistant at a local preschool. Catarina is Portuguese and a daughter of immigrant parents. She is a mother to two boys. She enjoys fitness, going to the beach, and spending time with her family. She believes that every student has their own unique way of learning and strives to support them on their journey to becoming independent learners.
