  • Mary Cepeda

    GUEST TEACHER

My name is Mary Cepeda, but these days, all of my friends call me Lux. I just joined the LC as a guest teacher! I've worked in education for several years as a paraprofessional and EFL teacher. I also worked in therapeutic recreation and social services. I've been fortunate to work in different school settings in several regions around the world - the northeast USA, Guam, and Poland. My students never believe me, but I've moved countries by myself two times, performed at Carnegie Hall at 15, and used to swim with sharks and eels! I hope to inspire every student I meet with a desire for lifelong learning.
