ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

Nicole graduated from Lyndon State College with her B.S. in Human Services in 2009. She previously served as an AmeriCorps member in New Hampshire, which led her to a 5-year career working in various schools with City Year, both in New Hampshire and Providence. Nicole was born and raised in northern Vermont on a family dairy farm. She enjoys time with her family and friends, especially her daughter and husband.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Carolina worked as a Data Entry Specialist for many years prior to joining the team at The Learning Community. She also helps run her family-owned Business. Carolina is the daughter of two immigrant parents who came here from Colombia. She is also the parent to an LC student. On her time off she likes to travel and explore new places with her family as well as creating new memories with them.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Evelyn has been part of the Central Falls community for over 30 years. She was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in Central Falls, RI in a Guatemalan household. Evelyn has been working proudly in our community; She was previously a Youth worker for the city of Central Falls in the summer program where she then became a youth worker in the extended day program at The Learning Community where she would also assist at the front desk from time to time. Previously she would serve the community as a Medical Assistant and Receptionist at our local eye doctor’s office.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Melissa grew up in Warwick and goes by the nickname Misse. She has worked at providing administrative support for many years in the fast-paced finance and health care industries. She was once an Emergency Medical Cardiac Technician and now uses those medical skills to rescue and rehabilitate animals with her husband in their off time. She enjoys reading, and spending time with her husband and animals. She loves soccer and her favorite team is the German National Soccer Team. Her goal in life is to spread kindness and compassion and to always be there for someone in need of a helping hand.

MIDDLE GRADES PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Elvin grew up in Central Falls and always knew he would want to come back and work in his community. After venturing out and serving 6 years in the Army National Guard as a 68W (Combat Medic Specialist) he completed his contract in February of 2020 & is now pursuing his dream of being an educator and an illustrator. Elvin's passion for his community comes from the volunteer work he did during high school serving food during the holidays. Elvin also coaches wresting for Providence County Wrestling Club and pursues an amateur boxing career to stay active. In his free time, he enjoys drawing, writing, and visiting museums with his girlfriend, Diana.

Rebecca is a certified HR professional with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a master’s degree in Business Administration. Her HR experience extends across different industries. Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends.
