  • Stephanie Meuse

    4TH GRADE (4A)

    Stephanie Meuse has been a 4th grade teacher at The Learning Community since 2013. She graduated from Northeastern University with her MAT in Elementary Education and BA in English in 2010. Before moving to Rhode Island, she worked as an ESL teacher and K/1 teacher in Boston and Cambridge public schools. Stephanie currently lives in East Providence and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her husband, their twin daughters and their cattle dog, Rook.

  • Cassie Jendzejec

    4TH GRADE (4B)

    Cassie joined The Learning Community team in 2012. Prior to coming to The Learning Community, Cassie worked with English for Action facilitating ESOL courses for women and at the Wolf School as an in-house substitute. She has a varied background in community and economic development including work in education in Nepal and India as well as work with community agencies in Massachusetts, Georgia, and Maine. Cassie has a degree in International Studies from Colby College and a MAT from Roger Williams University. When not teaching, Cassie enjoys dancing with The Extraordinary Rendition Band, community organizing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children.

  • Sara Echeverria

    4TH GRADE (4C)

    Sara graduated from Roger Williams University with her B.A in Elementary Education in 2022. Sara graduated with summa cum laude honors, and plans on getting her Master’s in Elementary Education. She has previously worked as an instructional intervention tutor, after school lead teacher, and Pre-K lead teacher. She has also served in her local church as a youth teacher for over 10 years. Sara believes in the success of all students, and believes that is the educators responsibility to create a community that fosters learning. In her free time, she likes to play soccer and volleyball; she is also learning to play the drums.
