2ND GRADE (2A)

Kelsey grew up on a dirt road on a farm in Connecticut where her passion for exploring nature was born. Kelsey remains an avid hiker, forager and gardener! Kelsey spent middle and high school switching between several schools in Connecticut, Florida and Rhode Island. Kelsey attended Rhode Island College where she studied Elementary Education and concentrated her studies in science. Kelsey has worked at Achievement First Iluminar Academy for the last seven years as a second and third grade teacher. Kelsey is excited to join The Learning Community to spread her love puns, jokes, and pictures of her pets!

2ND GRADE (2B)

Rowan graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her B.S in Family Studies: Young Child with a focus on Early Childhood Development. She is a Teach for America alumni and taught in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After that, she moved to Rhode Island in 2016 and taught at Achievement First Providence. In Providence, she wrote the 2nd grade ELA curriculum for the network. She has been at The Learning Community for two years now after 9 years of teaching. Rowan grew up in a small town in New Hampshire where she continues to go and visit family. Rowan currently lives in Pawtucket with her two cats, a dog, and husband!

2ND GRADE (2C)

Briana is originally from Long Island, New York and graduated with her B.S. in Early Childhood and Childhood Education in 2016 from SUNY Oneonta. In 2020, Briana graduated with her M.S. in Literacy Education also from SUNY Oneonta. In 2016, Briana moved to Florida where she taught kindergarten for 5 years. In 2021, Briana moved to Rhode Island to be back closer to her family. When Briana is not at school she enjoys relaxing and reading at home with her two cats, exploring New England, and spending time with her family.
